DirecTV has renewed its original law-enforcement drama, "Rogue," for a double-length Season 3.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the show will return to the satellite provider's Audience Network in 2015 with 20 episodes -- 10 to air that spring and 10 more in the following year. It was not said whether or not these episodes would represent the end of the series or not.

Along with the renewal, DirecTV also announced that "Rogue" co-star Cole Hauser would return with Newton for the upcoming season. Hauser joined the cast in Season 2 -- Newton's character of Grace Travis, an undercover detective, had spent Season 1 trying to bring her son's killer to justice and then moved to an FBI case involving Hauser's Ethan in Season 2.

"Viewers enthusiastically tuned-into Season 2 and we look forward to sharing exciting new chapters in the lives of these richly drawn characters," DirecTV vice president Chris Long says in a statement about the renewal.
