Ron Burgundy announces 'Anchorman 2': Will Ferrell in character on 'Conan'
Ferrell surprised viewers Wednesday night with an unexpected appearance on "Conan," complete with mustache, blowout, and that signature red suit. He played the flute for the audience, naturally... though "play" might be too strong a word in this case. "I like to keep my chops up, jam with the cats here," he said. "These cats. Maybe smoke a little tea afterwards, see if a little backstage Judy ends up on my lap. And then later that night she's playing my flute, and by 'flute,' I mean my turgid penis. That's what I mean."
Oh, Ron. Never change.
He even offered Conan O'Brien a little advice. "I've got one small criticism, and it's probably something only a professional like me would notice, but Conan, you look awful. You look like someone put a bright red fright wig on a skeleton and chucked it out of a helicopter. I'm being kind right now. Let me give you some advice: Fire your hair lady. Fire your makeup lady. Fire your gay wardrobe man, and just go under the knife."
He wasn't just there to steal the spotlight, though -- his visit had a purpose. "I actually have an announcement," he said after some prodding. "I want to announce this to everyone in the Americas. To our friends in Spain, Turkey, and the UK including England, that as of 0900 Mountain Time, Paramount Pictures and myself Ronald Joseph Aaron Burgundy have come to terms on a sequel to 'Anchorman.' It is official. There will be a sequel to 'Anchorman.' There will be a sequel."
And then he played his flute. His actual flute, you guys.
