Rosie O'Donnell's upcoming return to "The View" has gotten a lot of reactions, and now Donald Trump has chimed in. The real-estate mogul and "Celebrity Apprentice" star has a long-standing and public dislike of O'Donnell, so some might be surprised to hear that Trump almost praised the TV host.

Almost.

"I think it's a good move on ABC's part," Trump says in an interview with the New York Daily News. "It'll have a short-term positive effect. The show has really missed not having Barbara [Walters] on it. With that said, it'll have a short-term positive impact, but then you have the long term. Rosie always self-destructs."

It's both a compliment and an insult, which seems about right for Trump on O'Donnell.

Trump isn't just talking behind O'Donnell's back either. He points out in the same interview that he is expecting ABC to offer him a guest spot in Season 18 of "The View," just so he and O'Donnell can air their grievances with each other. "It would be the hottest show of the week," Trump explains. "I'm the first one they'll think of."

When O'Donnell does start on "The View," it will be interesting to see how long it takes for Trump to arrive as well.
