A giant hurrah can be heard echoing around the internet full of Royal Baby Watchers as the Duchess of Cambridge, Kate Middleton, has finally gone into labor. Multiple reports say the Royal Palace confirms Kate has been admitted to St. Mary's Hospital in Central London, as expected.
If all goes as planned, Kate will give birth in the Lindo Wing of the hospital, where the late Princess Diana gave birth to Kate's husband, Prince William. It has been rumored Will plans to buck tradition and join Kate in the delivery room.
This will be the first child for Will and Kate, both 31-years-old. The Royal Baby will be third in line for the British throne, knocking Will's brother, Prince Harry, down a rung. The flurry of activity once the baby is born will include a traditional formal notice outside the Palace, as well as a much more modern announcement via Twitter.
Will and Kate were married in April 2011 at Westminster Abbey. The Royal Palace confirmed Middleton's pregnancy in Dec. 2012.
