Here's proof that Katy Perry and Russell Brand's divorce is as amicable as we've been told: Brand asked for zero of Perry's millions when he filed the final divorce papers Feb. 7, TMZ reports.
Since the couple didn't have a prenup, Brand is entitled to half of the $44 million Perry raked in during their marriage. But Brand doesn't want any money from his ex. He made his own millions, though not nearly as many as Perry.
A source tells TMZ, "This divorce is as amicable as it gets, and Russell was a mensch."
There's a six-month waiting period between now and when the divorce will officially be granted, so look for the couple's split to become official in the eyes of the law on June 30. Brand filed for divorce on Dec. 30 after 14 months of marriage.
