Russell Brand: Katy Perry suggests new tattoo for holidays
We were all still reeling from Brand's appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live" on Wednesday night. He admitted that over the Thanksgiving holiday, he and Perry were inked up. "It was her idea. It's always her idea," he joked, referring to their Turkey Day tats. "She's always scribbling permanent things on my body for a laugh."
According to TMZ, Perry got a smily peppermint candy on her ankle, while Brand got the badge of his favorite soccer team inked on his arm. In turn, Brand took the needle and inked her tattoo artist with the same peppermint symbol she got.
In fact, behind the West Ham symbol, Brand paid homage to his wife with a matching candy-cane pattern. "There's a candy cane swirl that defines her aesthetic ideology," he told Kimmel. For her part, Perry's tat was unrelated to her hubby.
"Just some peppermint thing. Nothing to do with me," he noted.
