Russell Brand's new joke about Katy Perry sex: 'Think of anyone, anyone else'
Katy Perry said she stopped finding Russell Brand's jokes very funny by the end of their marriage, and now we can see why. The comedian had a show at London's SoHo Theatre recently, and reportedly said some not-so-nice things about his sex life with Perry.
"When I got divorced, I considered becoming a monk. When you're a monk, you're not allowed to have sex with anyone. When you're married, it's one person. That's one more than a monk," San Francisco Gate reports Brand joked. "It's not that different. I'd be having sex thinking, 'Think of anyone, anyone else.'"
If that's really how Brand felt with a woman like Perry, it's no wonder their marriage ended in divorce in Dec. 2011 after 14 months. Perry admits in Vogue's July 2013 issue that Brand started making jokes of this ilk about her while they were still married.
"[He's] hysterical in some ways. Until he started making jokes about me and he didn't know I was in the audience, because I had come to surprise him at one of his shows," she says.
