Ryan Lochte had the anchors of "Good Day Philadelphia" in stitches during a live via satellite interview. The problem is, Sheinelle Jones and Mike Jerrick weren't laughing with Lochte; they were laughing at him.
The interview starts with Jones asking Lochte, "What are you doing?" The correct answer is promoting his new E! reality show, "What Would Ryan Lochte Do?" Instead, the Olympic medalist swimmer -- who's known more for his braun than his brains -- responds, "Um ... what am I not doing?"
Another gem from the incredibly awkward interview is when Jerrick asks Lochte what kind of a pickup line from a woman might get his attention. Lochte is literally dumbfounded, leaving the broadcast in complete silence for a full six seconds before replying, "Good question ... My philosophy is if you're a man at night, you gotta be a man in the morning."
After Lochte describes being confused when reality show cameras followed him while he brushed his teeth, the interview is mercifully wrapped. Then Jones proceeds to giggle hysterically for a minute and a half. She's in tears, she's snorting, she's trying to save her false eyelashes from sliding down her face. But ... "He is good looking," she points out.
Meanwhile, Jerrick wonders, "How are they gonna put together like 13 weeks of programming?" He then does his best impression of Lochte's "man at night, man in the morning" line, blowing a kiss to the camera. Jeah!
