Ryan Murphy on 'Glee's' heavy workload: 'I don't want to hear it'

Glee-cast-320.jpgOn Tuesday (May 25) night's episode of "Glee," Vocal Adrenaline coach Shelby Corcoran ( Idina Menzel) informed her Lady Gaga-attired glee club, "And ladies, I don't want to hear anything about chafing just because you're wearing metal underwear. Not my problem."

Hmmm ...  that sounds suspiciously like the reported reaction "Glee" creator Ryan Murphy had when the stars of the hit FOX show recently sent a group letter complaining about their workload.

According to Life & Style, Murphy responded with, "I don't want to hear it."

Amber Riley, who plays "Glee's" Mercedes Jones, tells the magazine that the only events or parties the cast attends are those they're sent to by the network.

"It's a lot of work. It's a lot of rehearsing, a lot of dancing, a lot of singing, sometimes a lot of crying," she says.

And even now that they're done with shooting their season, things aren't going to ease up, since the kids are currently on tour with the live show.

Good thing they're young. They can take it.
