SAG Awards 2013 honor Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin with '30 Rock' wins
"30 Rock" is finally ending on Jan. 26, and the series went out in style at the 2013 Screen Actors Guild Awards. Though the NBC comedy didn't win Best Ensemble in a Comedy Series -- that honor went to "Modern Family" -- lead actors Tina Fey and Alec Baldwin did take top awards.
Baldwin made sure to thank Fey and "30 Rock's" writers for his Best Actor in a Comedy win, while Fey said she wanted to "share this with everyone else in our cast." But she also had someone unexpected to thank: Her rival nominee and real-life BFF "Amy Poehler.
"I share this with my sweet friend Amy Poehler, who I've known for so long. I've stolen so many of your moves," Fey said. "Amy, I've known you since you were pregnant with Lena Dunham."
She added about the finale's airtime, "Just tape 'The Big Bang Theory' for once, for crying out loud.
Even though "Modern Family" did win for an ensemble of actors, Jesse Tyler Ferguson made sure to give departing comedies "30 Rock" and "The Office" the love they deserved. "You all have set the comedy bar so high and if we can all be half as brilliant and smart and funny as you guys are ... all of us are indebted to you," he said.
