'Salon Takeover's' Tabatha Coffey on hair trends: Lauren Conrad, Lea Michele, and a 'Real Housewives' don't

We couldn't have lunch with "Tabatha's Salon Takeover" star and Bravo's hair styling maven, Tabatha Coffey, without asking her what she thought of the latest hair trends.

On her Bravo show, Coffey regularly has the hair models bring in pictures of celebrities whose hair they like.

So, we had to ask Coffey which celebrity hairstyle her clients have been asking for most. It didn't come as too big a surprise for us that Lauren Conrad, from MTV's "The Hills" and who's working on a new reality show for the network, is big among Coffey's clients.

"She's kind of done this thing now where it's a little darker through the top," Coffey tells Zap2it. "And then it's lighter on the ends. She has that very beachy, casual wavy, flicky hair thing that girls like now.

She adds, "They really like her color, because it's low maintenance. So, it doesn't look like it's necessarily grown out. It looks more like she's been out in the sun and just had some lightening on the ends. Especially in this economy, it's much more affordable for people to keep up with."

Coffey also tackles other hair trends, such as the perfect bangs (which "Glee" diva Lea Michele is currently rocking) and she tells us which "Real Housewives" style is a "hair don't." Hint: It's from "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills."
