Sandra Bullock raps 'Rapper's Delight' on 'The Jonathan Ross Show'
Sandra Bullock's visit to "The Jonathan Ross Show" proved to be very musically eventful. Not only did she and Tom Hanks recreate the famous FAO Schwarz scene from "Big," but she also rapped some lines from "Rapper's Delight" at Ross' insistence.
Bullock's love of "Rapper's Delight" actually has a great backstory, as it turns out. She explains that she learned all the words to impress a boy.
"I know a lot," she says of how much of the song she knows. "I mean, the sad part is I learned the words because I liked this guy in high school, and I was like, 'Next time I go to that dance I'm going to know every word, and I'm going to make sure he sees my lip syncing it and I'm going to catch his eye and say the words and he's going to like me.' Sadly, it worked. I know."
It certainly was enough to win over Ross' audience -- and Hanks, who gave Bullock a big round of applause. Bullock was on the show to promote her current film, "Gravity."
