Sarah Jessica Parker campaigns for Obama in new video spot

sarah-jessica-parker-obama-ad.jpg "Sex and the City" actress Sarah Jessica Parker threw her celebrity behind President Barack Obama's re-election campaign in a 30-second national TV spot that debuted during the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday (June 3) night.

"The guy who ended the war in Iraq, the guy who says you should be able to marry anyone you want and the guy who created 4 million new jobs -- that guy -- President Obama and Michelle are coming to my house for dinner on June 14," Parker says in the ad.

And guess what! She wants you to be there too! Apparently, all you have to do is go to JoinObama.com before midnight on Monday and donate ($3 is the recommended minimum) to Obama's campaign to be entered to win tickets for you and a guest to attend the event in New York City. This fundraising model proved effective for George Clooney's Obama fundraiser, which brought in $15 million.

Who would you rather sit with at the dinner: the president, Michelle Obama or Parker?
