'Saturday Night Live' books Mick Jagger to host season finale

mick-jagger-hosting-snl-gi.jpgRolling Stones singer Mick Jagger will pull a double shift on the season finale of "Saturday Night Live."

Jagger will be both the host and musical guest on May 19. He's been a musical guest on the show several times in the past, and the Stones were both hosts and guests in 1978. The finale will be his first time on the show as a solo host.

We're guessing, though, that he won't have much trouble fitting into sketches. Jagger has done several comedy bits in his past appearances, including a mirror sketch with Jimmy Fallon in 2001 and a "Weekend Update" segment in the early '90s where he played Keith Richards to Mike Myers' Jagger. (We wouldn't be surprised if Fallon makes a cameo on the 19th.) They're both at the end of the post.

Jagger's hosting turn will wrap up a run of three new episodes to close the season. Eli Manning hosts on May 5 and Will Ferrell returns to host on May 12.
