'Saturday Night Live' brings Gwyneth Paltrow, Cee-Lo Green together

cee-lo-gwyneth-snl-320.jpgSo is this the Gwyneth Paltrow- Cee-Lo Green collaboration Green spoke of recently?

Paltrow has been tapped to host "Saturday Night Live" on Jan. 15, and Green will be the musical guest. It's her third time hosting, while Green is making his first appearance as a solo artist (he appeared with Gnarls Barkley in 2008).

Last week, Green told said he and Paltrow are " actually working on something. We've been considering a few things actually." He also said he was a fan of her cover of "F**k You" on "Glee" earlier this season.

We kind of doubt that we'll see a straight-up duet of the song on the show, but we could easily see a sketch or digital short featuring the two. (It might be funny/awesome, for instance, to watch Cee-Lo harmonize with Gwyneth on "Country Strong." Just sayin'.)

Paltrow's show will be the second of back-to-back new "SNL" episodes to start the year; Jim Carrey is hosting this week with musical guest the Black Keys.
