'Saturday Night Live' host Alec Baldwin: 'It will make you forget all about old whats-her-name'

alec-baldwin-snl.jpgCall it coincidence, but May 15 marks the 15th time Alec Baldwin hosts "Saturday Night Live."

And according to his his promo (below) alongside musical guest Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, it's going to be so funny, "It will make you forget all about old whats-her-name."

This will be the eighth appearance for the band -- who remind Baldwin that "old whats-her-name" is last week's ratings gold "SNL" host, Betty White. They will be promoting their new album "Mojo," which is out in June.

Zap2it has already revealed Alec Baldwin's nipple-twisting promos ( Will Forte being on the receiving end of the torture) for tonight's 35th season finale. So we'd like to take a quick trip back in time to reminisce about one of Baldwin's most popular "SNL" sketches -- and one of our personal favorites.

Long before the Molly Shannon and Ana Gasteyer raved about Betty White's muffin on their NPR spoof "The Delicious Dish," they sat down with Alec Baldwin to chat about his "Schweddy Balls" back in 1998. Baldwin says it's still the skit he hears most about to this day.

Will Baldwin bring big laughs tonight? Tune in to NBC to see, and then check back on Zap2it to see the highlights.
