"Saturday Night Live" comedian Nasim Pedrad may not return for Season 40 of the long-running late-night show. Her commitment to the upcoming FOX comedy, "Mulaney," is the most likely conflict.

Pedrad hinted that this might be the case during the ATX Television Festival on Sunday (June 8). "I haven't heard any official word so far, but I love this show much," Pedrad told Buzzfeed of "Mulaney." "I have an apartment in L.A. and, as far as I know, I'm in L.A. now."

Because "Saturday Night Live" and "Mulaney" film on opposite coasts, it's unlikely that Pedrad -- known on "SNL" for impersonating celebrities like Ariana Huffington and Kim Kardashian -- could act on both shows.
