Saudi Prince Fahd al-Saud drops $20 million on Disneyland party
Prince Fahd al-Saud reportedly booked several areas of the park for his private party from May 22-24, which was thrown to celebrate his recent graduation. Euro Disney confirms to the BBC that the prince spent three days at the park with over 60 friends.
The celebration involved several customized events for the prince, including appearances by "rare Disney characters." There was also special security put in place for the event.
"This is the first time there has been such a grandiose, private world tour," editor of the Disney Gazette tells the Daily Telegraph. "The prince had fun. He was there all along, but we are not allowed to speak about him, that was the order."
The Daily Telegraph also reports the "rare" characters included Roger and Jessica Rabbit, the Aristocats and the cast of "Up" and "Atlantis, the Lost Empire."
Saud is the son of the late Saudi Crown Prince Nayef bin Abdul-Aziz al Saud.
