'Scandal': Lena Dunham dying for a guest star spot

lena-dunham-scandal-gi.jpgWhen Lena Dunham sat down with Grantland's Bill Simmons for his podcast "The B.S. Report," she didn't just discuss that whole Jezebel kerfuffle. The "Girls" creator and star also revealed that she's dying for a run-in with Olivia Pope.

Dunham, who's never been shy about her love of ABC's addictive thriller "Scandal," admitted that appearing on the show is one of her dreams. "Basically, my life's great passion is the idea of being a guest star on 'Scandal,'" she says. "I want to be like, a senator who did something wrong."

Sadly, she admits, "I don't think I'm technically allowed to."

With all the "Scandal" crosstalk, Simmons even got confused, asking Dunham, "Do you think Hannah's gonna get back together with the president or no?" The actress giggled, replying, "That's so fun! Yeah, Hannah's gonna get back together with the president, but Cyrus Beene really has it out for her."

In that case, Hannah better watch her back.
