'Scandal,' 'Orange Is The New Black' in, 'Modern Family' out of AFI Top 10 TV listAdd to Favorites | Scandal
The American Film Institute has put out its annual list of the 10 best shows on television in 2013, and there were omissions from the list that were just as surprising as some new additions were exciting.
It seems as though "Modern Family's" time as a critical darling of the media might be nearing its end. This year the ABC comedy was bumped off the list. HBO's as "Veep" is the only half-hour show to make the AFI list this year.
On the drama side, "Homeland" also suffered a fall from grace after being put on the AFI list for its first two seasons. In its stead were newcomers "Scandal," "Orange Is the New Black," "Masters of Sex," "The Americans" and "House of Cards," and returning favorites "Breaking Bad," "Game of Thrones," "Mad Men" and "The Good Wife."
Do you agree that this list of 10 TV shows were named the best of 2013?
