tony-goldwyn-bellamy-young-scandal-abc.jpgIn keeping with the Season 3 trend of fleshing out the extended families of "Scandal" mainstays (Hi, Mama Pope! Not so nice to meet you!), the ABC hit has plans to introduce more of the First Family.

Yeah, that's right -- even the son who may very well be Fitz's ( Tony Goldwyn) brother. (Don't know what we're talking about? Let us guide you to our recap of that tragic Mellie (Bellamy Young) episode here.)

TVLine reports that the addictive drama is currently on the hunt for actors to fill the guest-starring spots of 15-year-old Jerry, described as "quiet, smart and intense," and younger sister Karen, who presents herself as "polished, self-assured and older than her years."

With the hunt for the right actors underway, you know what time it is: Dream cast suggestions time!

TVLine's suggestion of Dylan Minnette ("Awake") for Jerry, at 17, is a good one, but he might be a little too old. Instead, we think Will Shadley ("Dirty Sexy Money") might be a great choice. He was incredible during his two seasons on that other ABC drama and he's the right age. Fun fact: He and Young have some built-in history, having both been a part of the Darling family.

As for Karen, may we suggest Bebe Wood? Between her work on "The New Normal" and that incredible "30 Rock" guest spot, she's got that "polished, self-assured" thing down. We'd love to see her bounce off the cold, withholding Mellie.

"Scandal" returns for the second half of Season 3 on Thursday, Feb. 27, with the 11th of 18 episodes. Jerry and Karen will make their debut in Episode 15.
