'Scandal's' Tony Goldwyn talks Twitter mania, President Fitz's hair on 'The Talk'

"Scandal" is one of the most talked about and tweeted about TV shows, and the stars of the ABC drama are quite familiar with that.

Tony Goldwyn, who plays President Fitz on "Scandal," stopped by CBS' "The Talk" on Wednesday (Oct. 16) to discuss some of the weirdest tweets he's ever gotten."I get a lot of weird ones. The best one recently happened, because last week had the greatest line ever and I couldn't wait for fans to hear it," Goldwyn says. "I go up to Cy and I challenge him and I say, 'How presidential are my balls now, Cyrus?' I couldn't wait to hear the fans' reactions to that. We do live tweeting so twitter just exploded when that happened. I must have gotten hundreds of tweets about President Fitz's balls."

Another Twitter explosion Goldwyn remembers well happened last season, and spawned more than just tweets. "We did this episode last season called 'Hunting Season' where Olivia and Fitz, for some reason I bring her out when I'm duck hunting to confront her," Goldwyn says. "We have this big fight running through the woods. It was hot and we were sweating, so my hair got curly and the front of my hair did that. It became this thing on Twitter about the 'Superman curl' and then our hairstylist Danny Valencia kept getting tweets and emails telling him how he should do my hair. There are multiple Twitter sites about Fitz's hair."

Goldwyn also discussed filming the sci-fi movie "Divergent" during "Scandal's" hiatus, in which he will play Tris' (Shailene Woodley) father with Ashley Judd playing her mother.
