Scott Bakula would love to return to 'Chuck'
That's almost a direct quote, in fact. Bakula said Tuesday during a conference call for his new TNT series, "Men of a Certain Age," that he's more than game to return to "Chuck," where he did a well-liked arc as Chuck's (Zachary Levi) father last season.
The new show "doesn't preclude me" from reprising his role on the NBC show, Bakula says. "We all love each other, so if they write it, I'll be there."
"Chuck" is in the midst of filming its new season -- recently extended from 13 to as many as 19 episodes -- and so far we've not heard of any plans for Bakula to return. But Josh Schwartz, Chris Fedak et al, if you're reading, your Steve Bartowski is willing to come back.
"Men of a Certain Age," which stars Ray Romano, Andre Braugher and Bakula as three long-time friends staring down middle age, premieres Dec. 7 on TNT.
