-It appears "Scrubs" cast just can't get enough of each other. After showing up on "Cougar Town" for an on-air reunion of sorts, Zach Braff is hooking up with his partner in bromance, Donald Faison, for a guest role on Faison's TV Land sitcom "The Exes." Braff will appear on the Aug. 29 episode as Chuck Feeney, a professional tennis player and client of Faison's character. He's a rumored ladies' man who might not actually be that interested in the ladies, if you get our drift. [ The Hollywood Reporter]

- Hilary Duff, known in some circles as little Lizzie McGuire (she's now a married mother, in case you want to feel old), is ready for her big TV comeback. She's appeared every now and then on the small screen since her Disney Channel comedy ended (on shows like "Community" and "Gossip Girl"), but Duff is looking for a full-time gig. The actress has signed a deal with 20th Century Fox TV to develop a sitcom based on her comedic tendencies in which she'd star and produce. If it doesn't end up making it to air, she could join one of the studio's other comedy or drama shows. [ Deadline]

- "Raising Hope" is gaining another funny lady: Jenny Slate, who spent a year on "Saturday Night Live," will guest star in at least two episodes of the FOX comedy during Season 3 as Joan, a social worker charged with checking in on the well-being of baby Hope. [ TVLine]

-Speaking of funny ladies, "Bridesmaids" actress Wendi McLendon-Covey and another former "SNL"-er, Michaela Watkins, will appear in the third episode of the new season of "Modern Family." They're playing a lesbian couple whose son gets into a fight with little Lily on the first day of kindergarten. [ Entertainment Weekly]

- "Revenge" is adding another troublemaker to the mix. Michael Nardelli will recur during season 2 as Declan's new buddy Trey, a "preppy misfit who befriends Jack's younger bro and then proceeds to get him in a world of trouble." [ TVLine]

- "Hot In Cleveland's" Wendie Malick is getting a new love interest in the form of "Lost" vet Alan Dale. He'll show up in two December episodes as Emmett, an Oscar-winning actor filming a Woody Allen movie in Cleveland. He meets Victoria (Malick) on-set, and their initial fighting turns into a flirtation. [ TV Guide]
