Sean Hannity to leave Cumulus radio, Michael Savage to replace him?
Sean Hannity likely won't be staying with Cumulus radio much longer. Conservative radio host Michael Savage predicts that he will soon be replacing Hannity on Cumulus Media's network of stations.
"I predict, right here, right now, that I Michael Savage and the 'Savage Nation' is going to take over 'The Sean Hannity Show' time slot by the end of the year," Savage says. "He's probably a nice guy, but his time is come and his time has gone."
He adds, "I am the heir apparent to afternoon drive on the east coast and around America on Cumulus stations, which have the most powerful stations in the radio world."
While that's yet to be confirmed, it does seem like Hannity is indeed on the outs. Sources tell Medialite and Politico that while Hannity is expected to part ways with Cumulus, Rush Limbaugh -- whose radio program was also on the chopping block -- will likely make a new deal with the media company in the majority of its markets.
