Selena Gomez gets her second tattoo in honor of a family member
The 20-year-old recently stopped by the studio of New York City tattoo artist Bang Bang where she had the Roman numerals for the number "76" etched on the back of her neck. Bang Bang then posted an image of the new tattoo to his official Facebook page, where it has since been deleted. The tattoo reportedly only took 20 minutes to ink, and Gomez was happy with the result.
While speaking with Daily Mail, Bang Bang explains that Gomez chose the number because it has special significance in her life.
"The tattoo was a tribute to a family member who she said means a lot to her," he says. "Selena was nervous it might have been painful, so she held her best friend's hand the whole time. But she did a great job."
Gomez also got her other tattoo touched up while she was there. Back in February, Gomez got a small tattoo of a music note on her right wrist to represent the impact music has had on her life.
