Who needs Comic-Con? Certainly not "Sesame Street," as the PBS show threw its own nerd gathering, Numeric-Con. The series has released a one-minute preview of it's upcoming celebration of numbers, which includes nods to many things you would normally find at Comic-Con.

Elmo is dressed as Batman, otherwise known as The Dark Nine, while "Star Wars," "Doctor Who," "X-Men," and "Star Trek" are represented. The obvious highlight are the Daleks, which "Sesame Street" has been sorely missing. Of course, the Muppet version of William Shatner is no slouch either.

"Numeric-Con" is just one of the special treats the show has planned for its 45th season, which begins Sept. 15 on PBS. There are also parodies of "Game of Thrones," "Harry Potter" and "The Avengers" in the works, along with appearances by Ian McKellen, Tina Fey, Mindy Kaling and even Michelle Obama.
