MacFarlane will executive produce and Green will star in the multi-camera comedy that has already earned a six-episode order from the network.

Green plays one of two successful thirtysomethings (along with Tommy Dewey of "The Mindy Project"), who are forced to deal with their dads ( Peter Riegert, Martin Mull) moving in with them. Brenda Song and Tonita Castro co-star.

Although Green has voiced the role of Chris Griffin on FOX's "Family Guy" since the series began in 1999 and also executive produces and provides voices for Adult Swim's ongoing series "Robot Chicken," this will be his first live action series regular role since 2006's short-lived "Four Kings." He was also a full-time cast member of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer" during Season 3.
