Seth Rogen named Stoner of the Year

seth-rogen-getty.jpgForget the Oscars. "50/50" star Seth Rogen is already a winner. On Saturday (Feb. 25), Rogen became High Times magazine's 2012 Stoner of the Year. And this isn't the first time -- Rogen, who co-starred with fellow Stoner James Franco in the weed-heavy "Pineapple Express," also picked up the honor in 2007.

Past winners of the not-quite-annual awards include Franco, "Hot Tub Time Machine" star John Cusack and Bill Murray.

Meanwhile, we suspect Rogen will be as alert as possible on Saturday evening when he hosts the 2012 Independent Spirit Awards.

"I honestly don't know which of these movies have won [or been nominated for] other awards and s--- like that," he tells People. "I just know which ones I thought were awesome, and I'll probably make that clear while I'm hosting."

Okay, so maybe he will smoke it up before taking the stage.
