sex-and-the-city-2-320.jpgWhat's old is new again on The CW. The network just green lit three shows to pilot and each one of them is based on a pre-existing property.

Perhaps the highest profile of these is " The Carrie Diaries," which comes from " Sex and the City" author Candace Bushnell. The show will follow a young Carrie Bradshaw coming of age in the 1980s. The pilot for the prequel was written by Amy Harris, a producer on the original series. " Gossip Girl" EPs Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will be on hand to produce.

The network also confirmed what many people had suspected, that they've ordered a pilot for the DC Comics hero Green Arrow. The show, which will be called " Arrow," sadly will not feature Justin Hartley who played the character on " Smallville."

And the last show the network picked up to pilot is " Beauty and the Beast." The show will be loosely based on the CBS series from the late 1980s which starred Linda Hamilton and Ron Perlman. It's being touted as a "modern day romantic love story with a procedural twist."

So Zappers, which of these would you most like to see?
