shahs-of-sunset-season-3-bravo.jpgWith the return of "Shahs of Sunset" on Tuesday (Nov. 5), fans of the Bravo series can look forward to a Season 3 full of the juicy drama and fractured friendships they've come to expect. Zap2it.com sat down with series stars Mercedes "MJ" Javid, Mike Shouhed and Lilly Ghalichi on the day of their big premiere, where they offered some very candid insight into the season to come.

One of last season's most dramatic stories was the erosion of MJ's relationship with BFF Reza Farahan, which lead to some ugly and uncomfortable moments between the two, but as the Season 3 premiere revealed, things may be looking up for the pals. "The phone call from Reza came out of the blue and, you know, I'm always going to have this heart that I have, for better or worse, and he showed up at my doorstep," MJ tells us. "We're all gonna have to tune in and see how it played out, but it was just the beginning of us talking for the first time after a long time."

While MJ may be making inroads with her estranged bestie, things aren't looking as rosy between her and Golnesa "GG" Gharachedaghi, which MJ writes off as a shifting of priorities. "I think that I've been partying a lot less and she's been drinking a lot more, and she just doesn't have a very good side to her when she drinks too much and I've had to be on the receiving end of a lot of s**t," she says, adding, "Excuse my French."

"I think GG's just a very volatile person," Mike adds. "The littlest things make her snap, and she's trying to cope with it, but she has a weird way of doing it."

Lilly spoke up in an attempt to defend her absent co-star, saying, "Yeah but you know, usually the most volatile, aggressive people like that are actually the kindest, most sensitive little girls inside, and I do see that side of GG." Mike agreed, but MJ wasn't having it.

"Yeah, but you've got to have accountability for your actions," she says. "We're all growing up and I don't see that in her. Like, there's no perspective and sitting back and reflecting on something you did wrong and being sorry about it."

Another relationship on the rocks in Season 3 is the one between Mike and Reza. "Yeah, there's some trouble in paradise," Mike admits. "The bromance is suffering a little bit, and Reza, being the snake that he is, peeks his ugly little head out of the garden and, yeah, it's crazy. This season's gonna be a lot unfolding between me and, really, one of my best friends. You guys get to sit back and watch that unfold."

"Hopefully it's all, like, about communication," MJ adds. "Like, our communication wanes. It's bad, it's good. There's a lot of ego and passion and misunderstanding. Maybe there's a way for them to find their way back."

It doesn't seem as though they're there yet, with Mike quickly adding, "I think you'll side with me at the end with you see what I stuck up for, though."

When asked to sum up Season 3 with just one word, MJ quickly says, "Outrageous."

"That's a great word," Lilly says, while Mike offers his: "Explosive." Looking to Lilly to offer her word, she finally lands on one: "Overstated." The trio erupt into laughter.

"We're proud of it, actually. We're really proud of this season," MJ says.

Season 3 "Shahs of Sunset" airs on Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on Bravo.
