Shania Twain performing two-year residency in Las Vegas
Twain held a press conference on Wednesday, June 8, to announce that she will be performing a two-year residency at The Colosseum at Caesar's Palace. Her residency, titled "Still The One," will begin on Dec. 1, 2012. "I'm beyond excited," Twain said. "I feel like I'm on top of the world. This is really beautiful and lovely."
"I just can't wait. I wish I could just get started tomorrow," Twain says of performing for her fans again after losing her voice. "I feel as thought I'm about to step into a world of endless creative possibilities."
This is the firm time Caesar's Palace has played home to a "certified country music legend." The current line-up includes Celine Dion, Elton John and Rod Stewart.
The press conference was held in Nashville, Tennessee and fans could watch a live-stream the press conference on her official website.
"I am in the top class company of the world as far as performers go," said of performing at Caesar's Palace. "This is a dream for any performing artist."
