Which was worse: 'Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda' or the 'Hot Blooded' Hot Pockets commercial?

sharktopus-vs-pteracuda-syfy.jpgThere's a certain level of horrible you expect when you tune in to one of Syfy's ridiculous monster movies. But you don't always expect the commercials to share the same level of ridiculous cheesiness as the main feature, like the Hot Pockets commercial set to the tune of Foreigner's "Hot Blooded."

You know how sometimes you set certain phrases to songs you hear on the radio and then sing them to yourself for weeks at a time? It's like someone did that with "Hot Blooded" and Hot Pockets, but they also got paid for it. Jerks. We have to figure out how to monetize our cheesy dad jokes.

Honestly, the writer of that silly commercial probably had almost as much fun as the person who brought "Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda" to life. Think of the most ridiculous genetic combinations possible, add as many cheesy jokes to a script as you can and make it into a movie? Dream job. Seriously. (Roger Corman, your life must be great.)

Which was worse for you: The movie or the commercial? And was it bad in the fun way, like lots of other Syfy movies, or was it bad in the bad way, which is just sad?
