Here is some very bad news for fans waiting for "Sherlock" Season 4: Martin Freeman has revealed that production will not begin after his theatrical performance in "Richard III." Instead, the scheduling for "Sherlock" is proving "hard to do."

Freeman broke the disturbing news during an interview with Digital Spy on Friday (April 18). "It's very hard to get together," the actor said when asked about a production schedule for "Sherlock." "But it's one of those things where you have to at some point just go, 'We're going to do it now' -- otherwise we could be having this conversation in three years."

This doesn't sound good, but at least Freeman knows that things have to happen sooner or later. "There comes a point where you've got to p*** or get off the pot," he added in the interview.

That time, however, will not be at the end of the summer of 2014 after "Richard III" ends its run.
