Sherri Shepherd looking to leave 'The View' with Barbara Walters?
Will "The View" soon be losing another of its leading ladies? According to a new report, Sherri Shepherd is considering leaving the talk show along with Barbara Walters.
Radar Online hears from a "well-placed production source" that Shepherd is "quietly looking for new opportunities." Reportedly she is "worried about her job" with Walters on her way out.
"While it may just be a precaution, Sherri is worried she'll be out of a job after Barbara leaves," the source says. "Before Barbara leaves, she'll want to make sure the panel is perfect and Sherri is concerned that could mean letting a few people go."
Shepherd joined "The View" in Sept. 2007 after being a guest co-host since 2006. The 46-year-old has neither confirmed nor denied this rumor.
"Sherri wants to stay on television, in either a hosting capacity or a sitcom," Radar's report continues. "She's looking into various roles and putting her feelers out there. She'd love to have her own talk show, but that isn't her focus right at this moment."
