Very few musical mentors make as much of an impression as Harry Connick, Jr. did during the second week of Top 4 performances on "American Idol" Season 12. With his good advice, fun humor and willingness to take a seat at the table, should Connick be a judge on the next season of "Idol"?

We asked the Top 4 singers -- Amber Holcomb, Angie Miller, Candice Glover and Kree Harrison -- what they thought about the idea. The responses were pretty much all positive.

Amber: Should he? Yes. He's so funny. There should be five judges, and he should join the panel ... Yeah, he's super funny and super honest, so I don't see why not.

Candice: My God, he is the most honest person I have ever met in my whole life, and he has such a dry sense of humor that you never know when he's kidding or being serious. He's really honest, so I think he should be a judge next year.

Kree: I love his voice -- it is so pretty! I love him, he is so funny ... Honestly, I always love what the judges have to say, whether it's good or bad. I listen to everything, because I respect them so much. So Harry was just a cherry on top of all of it. I love him. He's hilarious.

Angie: I love him. I would love him to be a new judge. I like how the stuff he said was really honest and very true. It was really helpful to hear from him -- he's the most hilarious guy.

(When asked about whether Connick's rather insanely negative comments about her were true too, Angie laughed and said, "Oh yeah. He was completely sarcastic. I hope people got the joke!")
