'Sister Wives' polygamist family investigated for felony bigamy

TLC's "Sister Wives," a seven-part reality show about real-life Utah patriarch Kody Brown and his three (soon to be four) spouses, Meri, Janelle, Christine and Robyn -- and their (gulp) 16 children -- premiered this weekend.

And someone from the Sheriff's Department in Lehi, Utah, where the family lives, must have tuned in -- because the family is now being investigated by police for -- duh -- felony bigamy.

The charge is a third-degree felony in the state, although families are seldom investigated and the law is rarely enforced.
