'SNL's' Jason Sudeikis tapped to host 2011 MTV Movie Awards

jason-sudeikis-gi.jpg "Saturday Night Live's" Jason Sudeikis will host the 2011 MTV Movie Awards, joining a group of other, umm, interesting choices, that includes Aziz Ansari, Andy Samberg, Ben Stiller, Jimmy Fallon, Mike Myers, Sarah Silverman and Justin Timberlake.

The event -- an awards season outlier that honors  the "Best Scared As-Sh**t Performance," "Best Jaw-Dropping Moment" and "Best Line From a Movie," among others -- is set to air live on Sunday, June 5 on MTV.

Sudeikis, for you non "SNL" watchers, also cameod in a memorable story arc on NBC's "30 Rock" as one of Liz Lemon's (Tina Fey's) love interests. (He was the guy -- Floyd -- who moved to Cleveland.)

Voting for the MTV Movie Awards opens online on May 3.
