Big things are coming to "Sons of Anarchy," and as usual they're mostly pretty bad. Almost all of Season 6 has been hard on the club, and Jax ( Charlie Hunnam) himself. He's lost his clubhouse, SAMCRO is seemingly falling apart while he tries to go legitimate, and now he's lost a child.
Of course, what he doesn't realize is that the child Tara ( Maggie Siff) miscarried wasn't real at all. It was a hoax on her part, to wrench Gemma ( Katey Sagal) out of her kids' lives. Gemma knows the truth about what happened though, and it was confirmed by Wendy ( Drea de Matteo).
Now the question becomes what will it take for Jax to listen to his mother and realize she's telling the truth. Certainly the words of his junkie ex-wife won't do the trick, so Gemma has an uphill battle ahead of her to get Jax back on her side. Seeing as it looks like he's going to tangle with Nero ( Jimmy Smits), that might not go as well as she'd like.
Personal struggles aren't the only thing Jax has going on in his life, as he'll also be sitting down with District Attorney Patterson ( CCH Pounder). The wants the club to be held accountable for the gun used in the school shooting. With Jax doing everything he can to make the club legitimate, he needs that that pressure to go away.
The episode also marks the return of Clay ( Ron Perlman), who sat out "Los Fantasmas." Unfortunately, he's doing so by taking a beating. Finally, the episode will explain who Brooke ( Hayley McFarland) is. Her character has never been seen on the show before, but gets her own portrait in the photos released for the episode, so she should be someone fairly important to the story.
"Sons of Anarchy" airs Tuesdays at 10 p.m. ET on FX.
