"Sons of Anarchy" creator Kurt Sutter's idea of working with Aaron Paul on the final season of the show has taken on a life of its own. So much so that it even got back to Paul, himself.

It all started when Sutter was asked on Twitter who he would like to work with on "Sons." His simple reply, "I think it would be fun to get @aaronpaul_8 on the show," set fire to the show's legion of fans, all of whom want to see the pairing happen.

Some even made the logical leap that Paul was cast on the show as, of all things, Jax's long-lost brother. Sutter jumped back on Twitter to dispel the rumor, which prompted a reply from Paul.

He tweets, "Wait a minute ... is that not true??? I was getting really excited about making some serious stuff happen. Ps. I love you." Obviously, the show is on Paul's radar. While casting him as a lost member of the Teller family would be strange, given that the show is wrapping up, a cameo could be quite a bit of fun.

As for now, it's all just good fun on Twitter. A fan can wish, though.
