You may not realize it, but "Glee" and "Sons of Anarchy" have a very distinct connection. "Sons" executive produce Paris Barclay is also an accomplished director, with eight episodes of "Glee" under his belt, including the recent "100."
It's that link that led to Barclay tweeting a photo of "Glee" star Lea Michele at the Kids Choice Awards to "Sons" creator Kurt Sutter. "Yo, @sutterink! She ready for CHARMING, or what?" he asks. Sutter seems into the idea, replying, "Smoking hot. All class. Charming could use a p**** upgrade."
Naturally, this is a lot like that whole Aaron Paul thing. Just people having fun on Twitter and not actual casting. Still, either or both of them could be fun additions to the final season of "Sons of Anarchy." In fact, why not pair them up? Imagine Paul as a member of another charter or club, with Michele as his old lady. It'd give her the chance to show off a much edgier character than the world is used to seeing from her. Stranger things have happened.
"Sons of Anarchy" returns in September.
