In a statement provided to Zap2it a Discovery rep says, "Given the serious and horrific nature of the charges against Will Hayden, we have decided to halt further production of 'Sons of Guns' and cancel the series."

"Sons of Guns" followed the staff of Hayden's custom weapon-making shop and ran for five seasons on the network.

Hayden's company, Red Jacket Firearms LLC, posted a statement online saying that it too was severing ties to the former reality TV star, who founded and co-owned the shop with grown daughter Stephanie.

"Red Jacket Firearms LLC. has initiated and received full legal separation as an entity, from William M. Hayden. With heavy hearts, we will be continuing to operate and ensure the fulfillment of new customer orders, back orders and to provide support to those affected by these new developments. WE are the Heart and Soul of Red Jacket and will remain steadfast in our commitment [sic] to quality and our customers, for years to come."

Hayden was arrested for allegedly molesting his daughter in early August, but accused his ex-girlfriend of telling the police lies "in retaliation for him ending their relationship," TMZ reported at the time. Hayden was re-arrested on the 26th and charged with child rape.
