Carrie Underwood stopped by the "Today" anchor desk to talk about the show, which she says is coming along nicely.

"We still have a week to prepare, but it's coming along really, really wonderfully. Such a great cast, so much talent. I'm blessed, for sure," says Underwood. "'The Sound of Music' is a big legacy and it's so important to so many people, it's such a beautiful story, beautiful music. We just want to do it justice."

She also introduced co-stars Michael Campayno and Ariane Rinehart, who play Rolf and Liesl in the production, as they took to the Macy's star to perform "Sixteen Going on Seventeen." GIF below, we'll post video when we have it.
