Stanley Cup 2014: L.A. Kings win, beat New York Rangers in double overtime

The L.A. Kings won Game 5 for the Stanley Cup at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on Friday (June 13) against the New York Rangers, winning the 2014 Stanley Cup.

It was certainly an exciting game to watch for both sides, as the Kings earned a 3-2 victory in double overtime. The final count for the NHL championship was 4-1, with the Kings earning the title of Stanley Cup champions.

This is the second time in two years that the Kings have won the Stanley Cup. The first time was in 2013, when the Kings beat the New Jersey Devils.
