Stephen Colbert parodies 'Accidental Racist' with Alan Cumming on 'Oopsie Daisy Homophobe'

The Internet furor over Brad Paisley and LL Cool J's "Accidental Racist" may have died down some, but that doesn't mean the well-intentioned, but ultimately misguided song isn't still ripe for a mocking. Enter: Stephen Colbert.

The comedian tweaked the beleaguered song on his "Colbert Report" on Wednesday night (April 17), telling his audience he wanted to bridge the gap on the next pressing American issue, homophobia. What he presented was satirical gold.

Donning a white cowboy hat, Colbert began warbling the first verse to "Oopsie Daisy Homophobe": "To the man stretching next to me / At the Crunch gym down on Main / I hope you understand / When I told you God hates f*gs / The only think I meant to say / Is I'm a Skynyrd fan."

Stepping into LL's shoes is Alan Cumming, delivering a rap verse that's as uncomfortable as its predecessor -- though knowingly so, this time.
