When a movie is finally made about the life of Fleetwood Mac member Stevie Nicks, because it's going to happen eventually, there's one person who probably won't be playing the singer: Reese Witherspoon. While that may seem strange, especially since Witherspoon won an Oscar for her role in a biopic about the life of Johnny Cash, Nicks is upfront about why she wouldn't be the right choice.
"I've already told her she's almost too old," Nicks says to ET Canada. Witherspoon doesn't disagree as Nicks says, "I love her, but she's like, 'I could play your mother.'" At 64 years old, Nicks rose to fame in her 20s.
Stevie isn't okay with just anyone playing her in a movie, as she wants the actress to be just right. Once, Lindsay Lohan's name popped up as a possibility, though Nicks quickly shot it down. In the meantime, Nicks is focusing on a new documentary about the recording of her first solo album in a decade, "In Your Dreams."
