'Suburgatory': Will you return to the 'burbs with Tessa?
As we said in our review, the father-daughter relationship between George ( Jeremy Sisto) and Tessa ( Jane Levy) has real promise, and both actors are great at showing their bemusement (or outright bewilderment) at life in suburbia.
Levy's bone-dry delivery even reminds us a little of another disaffected, combat-boot-wearing teenager: Daria Morgendorfer. There's no annoying sister, and parental figure George is more benignly clueless and well-meaning than Daria's folks were, but there's potential for "Suburgatory" to be as sharp a comedy as "Daria" was.
What say you? Will "Suburgatory" keep you hanging around between "The Middle" and "Modern Family" this season?
