'Supernatural' goes meta with 'The French Mistake': What did you think?

spn-french-misha.jpgIn one of "Supernatural's" most buzzed-about episodes all season, "The French Mistake," the Winchesters were transported in to our world, where they're better known as Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. The episode, which we reviewed in full here, featured everything we love about "Supernatural" - angels, cars, laughs, and some gruesome death scenes - and more.

Sam Winchester got a look at some of Ackles' previous work as Eric Brady on "Days of Our Lives." Dean discovered that Padalecki keeps an alpaca in his back yard - because, as his wife Genevieve Padalecki (as herself, kind of) notes, they're the greenest animal.

We particularly loved Misha Collins' work in the episode. Portraying himself, kind of, as a tweet-happy, Prius-driving, weepy, ugly-sweater-wearing geek gave us quite a few laughs... and we're sure he had a blast faking his own death for the camera.

Our favorite scene, though, had to be show creator Eric Kripke's highly dramatic death. We're sure the real Eric Kripke was proud of it. And of his hairline.

Given the unique theme of the episode, we're dying to hear your thoughts! Did you love it as much as we did? Was it not your cup of tea? Sound off on your favorite and least favorite moments in the comments below!
