spn-dj-qualls-party-on.jpgFriday's "Supernatural" episode was an emotional tearjerker, but thanks to Castiel making some amends, Sam ( Jared Padalecki) is back in fighting condition for this week's episode.

"Party On, Garth" provides some much-needed lighthearted relief from all that angst and trauma when the Winchesters meet up with their pal Garth ( D.J. Qualls) in Kansas.

In the clip below, Garth gives Sam and Dean ( Jensen Ackles) a surprise when they find him investigating their victim at the morgue dressed as an Air Force Corporal. Because he looks good in uniform, duh.

Now that Sam's brain is working, he can get his research on -- which is a good thing, because Dean and Garth's best guess at their monster-of-the-week is "invisible ghost werewolf." Sam finds a connection to Thighslapper Ale, though, a microbrew which Dean refers to as a "beverage for douchebags."

Hopefully he's ready to douche it up, though, because this is a monster that can only be seen while drunk. With what he's been dealing with, Dean definitely deserves a drink, but we're pretty sure that this isn't quite what he had in mind.

The one thing "Supernatural" is really lacking is good looking men, so we're just glad Garth is back to up the sexy quotient. Tune in Friday at 9 p.m.
