After Tuesday (Oct. 29) night's "Wizard of Oz" themed episode, "Supernatural" is going for another week of fun with the animal-centric "Dog Dean Afternoon."

Executive producer Robert Singer teased the upcoming episode during Comic-Con 2013 as "an episode that, for the moment, we're callling 'Dr. Dean-little' where he can talk to animals." That's right, Dean's getting in touch with his animal side. But how does Dean suddenly gain the ability to speak dog?

While investigating two bizarre murders, Sam and Dean realize that a German Sheppard is an eyewitness to both gruesome deaths. They look up a spell that will allow Dean to "communicate" with the dog to find out what kind of monster they're dealing with, but the spell comes with side effects that no one saw coming.

How hilarious is it seeing Dean bark at a mailman? "We wouldn't be 'Supernatural' without a couple goofy [episodes]," Singer says.

"Supernatural" airs Tuesdays at 9 p.m. ET on The CW.
